This camera take the basic benefits of the base model - exceptional image quality, flawless operation and outstanding mobility - and allow the user to activate the newly developed, integrated HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter) with a single movement, which provides soft, smooth images with diffused light areas in addition to the clear, sharply focussed images of the base models.This filter allows the user to give the captured images a completely different visual expression, depending on the subject or creative intention.
Easily switch to the new, built-in HDF to create soft, softened images
The GR III HDF feature the newly developed HDF filter (Highlight Diffusion Filter), which emphasises high highlights and produces soft, smooth images.
As the HDF can be switched on and off with a single press of a button, the user can effortlessly switch between two completely different visual expressions depending on the subject or creative intent - clear, sharply focused images, emblematic of the RICOH GR series, and softer, smoother images captured by the HDF. This creative versatility pushes the visual boundaries of snapshot photography.
