European GR SNAPS Activity – Additional Information

As part of the 30th Anniversary “GR SNAPS” Social Media Posting Challenge, photographers residing in Europe have the opportunity to have their work selected for a special European celebration in Paris.

In addition to the global competition, the following European activity will apply:

• Eligibility: Entrants must reside in Europe. 
• Previous competition entries: Images submitted must be original and must not have previously been entered into another photography competition. 
• European shortlist: A panel of professional photographers will select 10 images from the eligible entries at Salon de la Photo 2026. 
• Paris exhibition: The 10 shortlisted images will be displayed as part of a celebratory exhibition at the Ricoh GR Pop-Up in Paris, from 22 October to 6 November 2026. The precise location of the Ricoh GR Pop-Up will be announced separately. 
• Public voting: Visitors to the Ricoh GR Pop-Up will be invited to vote for their favourite shortlisted images. The three images receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded the prizes below. 
• Prizes: 
  1st Prize: €2,000 credit to spend at ricohgr.eu
  2nd Prize: €1,000 credit to spend at ricohgr.eu
  3rd Prize: €500 credit to spend at ricohgr.eu
  The prizes are provided as store credit for use at ricohgr.eu and are not redeemable for cash.
• Entries: Up to three entries per person may be submitted. 
• Closing date: Entries remain open until 27 September 2026. 
• Winner announcement: The three European winners will be announced on 10 November 2026 and contacted separately. 

This European activity forms part of the wider global 30th Anniversary “GR SNAPS” Social Media Posting Challenge and is subject to the Official Rules of the Contest. In the event of any conflict, the Official Rules shall prevail.
