"Ich komme ursprünglich von der Fuji X100F, bin dann zur Ricoh GR III gewechselt und habe mir jetzt die Ricoh GR IV gekauft. Und ehrlich gesagt: Für mich passt diese Kamera einfach perfekt. Was mich sofort begeistert hat, sind die Farben. Für meinen Geschmack wirken sie natürlicher und farbtreuer als bei Fuji. Dazu kommt die unglaubliche Schärfe, die Handlichkeit und diese kompakte Form. Die Kamera passt wirklich in die Hosentasche, und genau das macht sie so besonders. Eine APS-C-Kamera, die man einfach immer dabei haben kann, ohne Tasche, ohne großen Aufwand, ohne aufzufallen. Genau darin liegt für mich der größte Reiz. Im Vergleich zur GR III fühlt sich die GR IV spürbar schneller an, besonders beim Autofokus. Auch der integrierte Speicher ist ein riesiger Vorteil, wenn man spontan unterwegs ist und einfach fotografieren möchte. Dazu kommt der 5-Achsen-Stabilisator, der im Alltag wirklich hilft. Für mich ist die Ricoh GR IV eine Kamera, die wie für Streetfotografie geboren wurde. Klein, schnell, unauffällig und immer bereit. Mit dieser Kamera bist du mitten im Leben unterwegs, aber bleibst trotzdem unsichtbar. Genau das macht sie für mich so besonders."

"The camera produces beautiful pictures, UX is great and the jpegs are of very high quality. A few film simulations apply an annoying white vignetting though, which is really painful to remove and defeats the whole purpose of shooting jpeg and not raw — hence the missing star. I just hope this is not a sign of a faulty device, but I don’t think so as it’s not with every film simulation. I hope a fw update solves it eventually."
